An old friend used to say, ‘There are 3 things we can do to help manage stress, discomfort and sadness – breathe in, breathe out, and repeat…’.
This workshop will encourage movement, awareness and sensation, promote understanding of the biomechanical actions of breathing, and accentuate the pleasure derived from the experience of consciously repeating and repeating this life-giving cycle. We’ll use sound and mudra and pranayama and imagery and there’ll be an intermingling of stretching, yoga postures, relaxation and conversation.
